Freedom From Smoking (FFS), is a nationally recognized adult smoking cessation program designed to help people learn the skills they need to successfully quit tobacco use. It is a seven-week, eight session program that uses positive behavior change in a group setting. Special attention is given to developing a quitting strategy, dealing with recovery symptoms, controlling weight, managing stress through relaxation, assertiveness techniques, and staying off cigarettes. The sessions occur once-a-week and are led by a certified facilitator.
